BELLS

On the bell tower there are n. 5 bells, cast by the foundry Ottolina in 1946, the following characteristics:

I ° Bell diameter cm 162, 2360 kg weight

II Campana 143 cm diameter, weight 1650 kg

Campana III 126 cm diameter, weight 1140 kg

IV Bell diameter cm 120, 970 kg weight

V ° Bell diameter cm 107, 680 kg weight

     

RESTORATION OF INTERVENTION

The restoration work began with the lowering, using a special crane, the five bells installed in the bell tower complete their accessories, then transported in our factory in Cologne (BS) for audit and restoration operations.

Once arrived in our workshop the bells were subjected to a thorough review that included:

  • The complete renovation of the wooden insulators and their supporting hardware;
  • The complete overhaul of five clappers (or clappers) and the exchange of only a knocker;
  • The verification of three pairs of pins and the replacement of two pairs of the same.

COLOGNE

As regards the electrical part of automation of bells we proceeded with the complete replacement of the system of handling of the bells, with the installation of RCTouchBell, handling plant for more advanced bells in the world, able to reduce fuel consumption and improve performance ensuring protection from electrical phenomena and power surges. Product we produce.

They have been replaced all five engines and installed many new elettrobattenti.

It 'been completely replaced the electric line mast as the old did not appear in conformity with the current regulations.

Finally, we proceeded to the connection of the bell off concert with the RCTouchBell system installed.
